Update: Received an email from then stating that the keyboards are currently in Pasadena, Ca and that I may come pick one up if I'd like. This is about a 2 hour drive for me. I don't think I'll be "stopping by" to pick one up any time soon. LOL!

FreeDeskTops - They are not giving away free computers yet, but they are accepting applications. The following is a section of their FAQ:
How many FreeDesktop PCs will be given away?
It is our goal to eventually be able to give a FreeDesktop computer to each and every applicant. At this stage, however, we cannot guarantee that any applicants will receive a FreeDesktop PC.
FreeMac - This fall, FreeMac will be giving away 1,000,000 free Apple iMac Computers. Give them your email addy and and they'll notify you the night before they tell the rest of the world how to get one. The following is a quote from their website:

Update: December 17, 1999 - I received the following email.
In November of this year, Free-PC merged with eMachines... We wanted to let you know how the merger will affect you as a Free-PC applicant. As part of the new eMachines, we will be focused on providing high-quality, low-cost PCs to consumers via popular retail stores such as Best Buy and Circuit City.
